Candle Ceremony Two lighted candles symbolize your separate lives, your separate families and your separate sets of friends. I ask that you each take one candle and together light one special candle. The individual candles are then extinguished. The individual candles represent your individual lives today. Lighting the single candle in unison represents that two lives are joining together into one light, two families are joined as one, and two sets of friends are joined as one. |
